Julia Maxman

Julia Maxman is an associate awaiting admission at The Law Offices of Diamond, Fee, Kalos & Ballard.

Julia received her Juris Doctorate from Cardozo School of Law, where matrimonial and family law were her primary concentration. While at Cardozo, Julia was a student-mediator for the in-house Divorce Mediation Clinic, where she worked hands-on with clients to mediate their divorces quickly and efficiently. She also had several internships throughout law school at boutique matrimonial firms where she worked on divorce proceedings, including custody matters and child support cases. Julia also volunteered with the Uncontested Divorce Project where she assisted domestic violence survivors in navigating the process of divorce.

Julia’s additional legal experience includes internships at the New York Civil Court-Kings County and personal-injury focused litigation firms. She was chosen to participate in the Cardozo Health Care Reform Field Clinic, working as a student extern with the Medicare Rights Center. Julia was also selected as the Articles Editor for the 30th Volume of the Cardozo Journal of Equal Rights & Social Justice. 

Julia graduated from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor with a BA in Communications.
